WHYNE is an emerging songwriter and producer making his solo professional recording debut in 2022. Although his career is new, his musical journey started long ago. Growing up in Italy, he began playing piano at the age of 10. He ultimately went on to study music in college where he learned to sing and play a number of instruments including guitar and drums.
The versatile producer cites a broad spectrum of musicians as inspiration including; SUM 41, Lady Gaga, The Chainsmokers, REZZ, Skrillex, Boombox cartel and many others. His diverse musical tastes translate into an eclectic multi-genre sound. WHYNE began producing his own music 8 years ago. Now he is ready to share it with the world.
“Anyway I Miss You” is the debut single from WHYNE, released worldwide to all major streaming services on April 20, 2022. Ambient synths and soft piano chords introduce the track. Guest vocalist LYNX steps to the mic and delivers a heartfelt Pop ballad breakup song. Syncopated arpeggios and percussion gradually enter the mix, landing on a nice bass drop in the chorus. Joey Law lands a soulful second verse before the song evolves into an emotionally powerful duet as WHYNE drops big melodic EDM riffs.
