Dirty the Queen is a new Alternative Rock band from Los Angeles, California. They first got together in 2021 as ‘The Flying Dutchmen’. However they soon realized that there were a number of other bands with that name, so Dirty the Queen was born. As soon as the world started to open back up, they hit the stage and studio.
“Painted With The Red” is the debut single from Dirty the Queen, released worldwide to all major streaming services on April 22, 2022. Although the band is brand new, they have arrived as an airtight unit with a fully formed sound. The track is a guitar & vocal driven bop that sounds like a hit.
The band’s sound harkens back to the heyday of 90’s Alternative Rock radio. They deliver their memorable Pop-infused hooks with a high-octane mix of of Grunge, Metal and Modern Rock. Lyrically, “Painted in the Red” touches on relationship and mental health issues as the band kicks out a powerful Rock jam.
