Dirty Tribe is an emerging Indie band who made their professional recording debut in 2020 with the single “Ocean Vibes.” That song introduced a genre-bending band from Tacoma, Washington with an Island groove born far from their Northwestern home. The mononymous quartet of Snax (lead guitar & vocals), Big C (rhythm guitar), Bodi (bass & vocals) and Torijon (drums) rock on a cool mix of Reggae, Ska and Alternative Rock.
The group has released a total of three singles since their debut. Thanks to tracks like last year’s ‘Rock Wit Us’ they have connected with fans around the world. Now that live music is once again a thing, the band is currently playing regularly in the clubs around Tacoma. Future plans include a probable tour.
“Come and Goes” is the latest single from Dirty Tribe, released worldwide to all major streaming services on February 26, 2022. The track opens on a mellow 90s Alternative Rock guitar and bass intro. As the singer steps to the mic the band kicks into a laid-back Sublime-style Alt/Reggae groove. In the chorus they hit their distortion pedals for a nice dose of Metal.
As the song progresses Snax and Bodi trade verses, each delivering a personal and retrospective of life’s highs and lows. Lyrically the song drops some rasta ‘C’est la vie’ wisdom. Good, bad or otherwise, “That’s the way life flows… you gotta live it how it comes and goes.”
