Mindsketch is the professional name of composer, sound engineer and multi-instrumentalist producer, Gaston Bello. An international talent, this new solo project is but the latest chapter in the artist’s rich creative history. Growing up in Argentina, he began studying music when he was just 5 years old. As an adult he worked as a DJ and for a number of years as a member of the Stoner Rock band, Omnia.
Now based in Berlin, earlier this year Gaston launched the independent label Breaded Records where he works as both producer and artist. The label has already produced a handful of releases with many more to come in the Indie-Rock-Pop-Electronica genres. The label’s most recent release is its founder’s debut single.
“Get Along” is the debut album from Mindsketch, released worldwide to all major streaming services on May 6, 2022. The instrumental track rides on a driving midtempo groove of syncopated organic and electronic percussion and a cool descending Jazz bass riff. Ambient analog synths and guitars paint a psychedelic scene in broad and colorful strokes as a hypnagogic vocal trades verses with some nice Santana-esque Latin Blues/Acid Rock guitar.
