Sakka is the professional name of emerging independent singer/songwriter Noelle Twum-Ampofo. Born in Ghana and raised in Arizona, the young artist is making her professional solo recording debut in 2022. After years of honing her craft behind closed doors she will release her debut 6-track EP What Comes Next on June 17.
“Spell” is the debut single from What Comes Next, released worldwide via all major streaming services on March 11, 2022. She followed the single one week later with an excellent 5-track collection of dance remixes. A mellow guitar Funk opens the track. Smooth electric piano chords and deep synth bass tones enter the mix just as the beat drops on a laid-back R&B groove.
Sakka steps to the mic and delivers a soulful and sultry slow jam. She sings a smart and sexy serenade to the lucky man who has her under his spell. Impeccably executed harmonies accent a cool and confident performance from a skilled vocalist at the top of her game.
