SG Bubba K is an emerging independent Hip-hop artist who made his professional recording debut in 2019 with the 6-song EP Sumn Fo Ya Ears. That record introduced a skilled emcee and producer with an old-school lyrical flow and a modern, Alt/Hip-hop vibe. A versatile and eclectic artist, stylistically his music spans the spectrum of Hip-hop.
Since that first record the prolific Colorado rapper has delivered a string of records. It’s an impressive volume of work. In less than three years he has released six EPs. On May 6, 2022 Bubba SG K dropped a brand new single “Chosen,” released worldwide via all major streaming services on May 6, 2022.
“Chosen” opens on ambient synths and a funny intro skit. Soon the beat drops on a Lo-fi Hip-hop groove. A subterranean sawtooth bass holds down the bottom as SG Bubba K steps to the mic with a hard freestyle rap. He drops an endless string of clever rhymes, disses and plenty of posturing.
