Mr. Johnny Ba$h is an emerging genre-fluid independent rapper, singer and producer. After years of making a name for himself in California’s underground scene, he made his professional solo recording debut in 2022. He has already delivered a remarkable volume of work.
Since dropping his debut single “Pieces” in February of last year, Mr. Johnny Ba$h has released six singles and two full length albums. His unique mix of Hip-hop, modern Indie Rock and classic Punk has resonated with fans worldwide.
“Don’t Jump the Gun” is the new single from Mr. Johnny Ba$h, released worldwide to all major streaming services on May 13, 2022. A Classic Rock inspired baseline opens the track before the beat drops on a Lo-fi drum and power chord Rock groove. Johnny steps to the mic. In a Punk Rock freestyle rap he covers topics ranging from mental health, relationships and religion. The song is a letter to anyone struggling with suicidal thoughts.
I wrote this song as a means of motivation to keep on getting better mentally and to not succumb to my own darkness. My main goal with Don’t Jump The Gun is to raise awareness for suicide and mental health.
