Do Dirt is an emerging independent Hip-hop artist who made his professional solo recording debut in 2018 with the single “Falling out of Love.” That track introduced a rapper, singer and songwriter with a taste for downtempo beats and emotional lyrics about the struggles of life on the streets. Since then, the prolific artist has dropped over 2 dozen singles as well as the 2019 full-length release Welcome to dirt World.
Originally from California, he now lives in San Antonio, Texas. After running into some legal trouble Dirt spent some time in prison. Once he was released he dove into music created a buzz on Instagram with his unique Emo Trap vibes. His music caught the attention of Bentley Records who quickly signed the up and coming rapper.
“Lost Souls” is the latest single from Do Dirt, released worldwide to all major streaming services on May 7, 2022. A melancholy piano opens the track. As it plays its soft lament, the beat drops on a low and slow Trap groove. Do Dirt steps to mic with a wistful tale of past mistakes and a hopeful plea to hold onto the family he loves.
