We first heard from singer/songwriter DROZE in July of last year upon the release of his single “Never Thought” on Miami-based record label Gonna Be Music. That track introduced a multi-talented multi-instrumentalist with a soulful R&B voice and a love of House and modern EDM bangers. Growing up in both New York and Miami, Droze was heavily influenced by the two cities’ legendary club scenes.
Earlier this month Gonna Be Music dropped an exciting new remix of the DROZE club hit. “Never Thought (Nino Bellemo Remix)” was released worldwide via all major streaming services on May 6, 2022. The track is a collaboration with House music dj/producer, Nino Bellemo. The globe-hopping West Coast DJ has a classic sound inspired by the legends of East Coast House and Techno music.
Soon the beat drops on a classic House bass and drum groove. Nino heats up the dance floor for DROZE who steps to the mic with a tale of love, heartbreak and rebirth. Between verses, the DJ steers the party through an after-hours jam popping with Disco energy. A popular producer and collaborator, prior to working with Gonna De Music, Bellemo produced records for other influential labels like Nervous Records and Viva Recordings.
