Dizzy Panda are an experimental electronic music duo who made their debut in 2020 with the album Raw Dummy. That record introduced a talented team from the Netherlands with a chilled out downtempo vibe. Theirs is a psychedelic sound reminiscent of great 90’s Trip-hop acts like Massive Attack and Morcheeba.
Since that debut, the prolific producers have delivered a remarkable volume of work including nearly two dozen singles and the March release of their sophomore album Panda Points. In June the group will release another 8 track album titled Bonus Points. The record will consist of tracks that fell off the Panda Points album, and some that were completed after its release.
“Back to Me” is the brand new single and video from Dizzy Panda, released worldwide via all major streaming services on May 11, 2022. The song is the first single from the forthcoming Bonus Points. Distant lo-fi chords grind out an ominous minor-key riff as the groove drops on a hard and slow Trip-hop breakbeat. A female vocalist delivers a soulful performance, including a couple of nice operatic moments.
