Geoffrey Toussaint is composer and multi-instrumentalist independent electronic music producer from Washington, DC who made his debut in 2018 with the single “Young and Angry.” That track introduced an eclectic and multi talented artist with a genre-bending sound and taste for chill beats. Since then the prolific producer has delivered a remarkable volume of work including over a dozen singles, 8 EPs and a full length album.
After that tremendous creative output of nearly incessant record releases, Geoffrey Toussaint took 6 months off to focus on defining his sound. To date, his new music has always been intentionally unclassifiable. After dropping his last EP ‘stupid love songs’ the multi-talented DMV artist decided to take a step back and assess.
“SUN & STARS” is the latest single from Geoffrey Toussaint, released worldwide to all major streaming services on May 20. The track is his first new music for 2022. Ambient synths and a Lo-fi abstract beat set a dreamy scene as an EDM bass rides that mellow beat. A female vocalist steps to the mic with a soft and soulful performance of this hypnotic and melancholy love song.
