Zander Long is a singer, songwriter and producer who made his professional solo recording debut in 2021 with the six song EP All of Them. That record introduced a talented multi-instrumentalist with an experimental vibe and a genre-fluid sound. The New York City native began playing at a young age and showed an early interest in a wide range of musical instruments.
Long’s debut EP All of Them covers a lot of ground in just six songs. From the funky instrumental “Introwave” to the punk rock closer, the record runs the gamut of popular musical styles. New Wave grooves meet Trip-hop psychedelia on this diverse and nuanced record.
“Outropunk” is the current single from Zander Long’s All of Them. The track opens on a Lo-fi acoustic guitar intro before the beat drops on a Punk-fueled Grunge assault. Zander mans all of the instruments on the Nirvana-inspired rocker. Some smoking Keith Moon-esque drum fills add a bit of Classic rock flavor to the groove while 90’s guitars pummel from all sides.
