Hannah Gold is an emerging singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist producer who made her professional solo recording debut in 2021 with the Synthwave bop “Run Away.” that song introduced a multitalented and versatile artist. Originally from Long Island, New York, Hannah moved to Los Angeles a few years ago to attend classes at USC. After graduating, she remained in Tinseltown to pursue a career in music.
Regular readers of the static dive have followed Hannah’s career closely over the past year. She followed her debut with the chilled R&B vibes of “They Always Come Back”. With each new release the versatile songwriter introduces new depth to her sound.
“Alone” is the latest single from Hannah Gold, released worldwide to all major streaming services on May 13, 2022. On previous singles Hannah has hinted at aHip-hop influence. In the case of “Alone” she jumps right into the genre with an acapella rap intro. Soon the beat drops on a mellow downtempo Trap groove. A smooth synth bass holds down the floor as ambient synths and electric piano chords paint the periphery. On the mic, Hannah alternates between soulful vocals and a melodic rap as relays virtues of solitude to her ex.
