Menachem Weinstein’s Uplifting ‘Daylight’

Menachem Weinstein

Menachem Weinstein is an international singer, songwriter and entrepreneur who made his professional solo recording debut in 2016 with the single “My Time.” That track introduced a talented Indie-Pop artist with a powerful singing voice and a unique backstory. Originally from London, Menachem Weinstein grew up in Europe’s largest ultra-orthodox Haredi Jewish community, London’s Stamford Hill.

Through most of his young life, the singer was completely unexposed to mainstream music. At 14 years-old he dropped out of religious school and stepped into an unexplored world. Shakira’s “Hips Don’t Lie” was the first non-religious song Menachem heard after liberating himself.

The Latina Pop queen opened his ears to a whole new world of sound. An entirely new medium of expression was now open to the young artist. He soon began writing songs to chronicle his own feelings and experiences. Since making his debut the prolific songwriter has delivered 8 singles and connected with fans around the world. Now based in Florida, Weinstein is the director of the video production company Munch Media.

“Daylight” is the latest single from Menachem Weinstein, released worldwide to all major streaming services on March 5, 2022. Ambient synths and piano chords open the song. The singer steps to the mic as the beat drops on a downtempo mix of electronic and acoustic percussion. Menachem delivers an empowering ballad as he looks for signs of life in an otherwise dark world.

The song references the daily struggles of those with addiction, mental health, loneliness, poverty, and other challenges that so many experience across the world today.
