David Mieth is a singer, songwriter and guitarist who makes Americana music with a soul soaked deep in the blues. A true indie original, Mieth (pronounced meeth) is a multi-talented veteran musician from San Antonio, Texas who began writing, recording and producing his own music when he was just 12 years old.

On May 22, 2022, David Mieth released a brand new 2 Song EP, available worldwide via Bandcamp. The record is a soulful tour through the many flavors of the blues. “Woulda, Shoulda, Coulda” opens the set with a high-octane blues lament. A classic blues quartet backs up the singer as he shares allegorical tales of missed opportunities and lost romance. Throughout the track he trades verses with a killer lead guitar made of equal parts Delta slide and Chicago single-note blues.
To paraphrase Joe Seneca as Willie Brown in the movie Crossroads, “Alone Again Blues” is the sound of a good man feeling bad about a woman he once had. An ensemble of organ, bass and drums back up a soulful vocal and a red hot Texas blues lead guitar. On both tracks, David Meith pairs real-world drama with authentic, organic soul-fired blues.
