Heike Harfmann

Heike Harfmann is singer, songwriter and music educator from the Zabergäu region of Germany. For the last 16 years she has owned and operated a private music school in the town of Brackenheim. As was the case for nearly everyone on the planet, Heike found herself with a lot of free time during the many lockdowns of the past two years. So she started writing songs.

She made her professional solo recording debut in March of 2021 with the single “Halleluja.” Since then the prolific producer has released a total of ten singles. Her music ranges in style from quirky alternative electro-pop to folk and classical inspired piano music. Determined to make a positive impact with her music, Harfmannn donates a large portion of her streaming profits to charity.

Why do I donate a large part of my earnings from my songs? I live in a privileged country. It’s time to think of others!

“Wiedersehn” (see you again) is the latest single from Heike Harfmann, released worldwide via all major streaming services on May 31, 2021. The track opens with the singer alone at her piano. An ensemble of bass, drums and strings gradually enters the mix. Heike sings (in German) her song dedicated to the people of Germany’s Ahr Valley. In 2021 there was a severe flood disaster in the region. Recovery will take years. Harfmann is doing her part by donating all profits from “Wiedersehn” to the relief effort.
