Carlo Taylor is a singer, songwriter and guitarist who took an interesting path to the music industry. Although he is just now making his professional solo recording debut, he arrives on the scene with a fully formed style and sound. A seasoned musician, he has nevertheless avoided any notoriety for nearly 25 years. Now with a little help from his friends, the singer is stepping into the spotlight.
In 1997 Carlo Taylor was diagnosed with antisocial mediaritus, a rare and crippling condition which leaves patients completely unable to function in social settings. So the singer retreated to solitude with his guitar. He was certain his music would remain a secret known only to himself, family and a few close acquaintances. However, those acquaintances had a different idea.
Directed by both medical instruction and personal preference, Carlo Taylor has largely avoided the online world. He was writing and recording new material all the time, but no one heard it. So his friends decided to introduce Taylor’s music to the world of music streaming in the form of his forthcoming debut album Tales From An Unmarked Grave.

The first of four singles to be released from Tales From An Unmarked Grave, “Million Miles” is a beautiful introduction to Taylor’s distinct and sophisticated style, both musically and lyrically. He pairs a soft, almost whispered tenor with a percussive finger-picking guitar style that is rhythmically and melodically complex.
