STINA is an emerging independent singer/songwriter who made her professional solo recording debut in 2017 with the the emotional Pop ballad “Gonna Leave.” That song introduced a talented young singer with a unique sound made of equal parts; country, pop and EDM. In the five years since her debut the prolific musician has written topline melodies for Swedish DJ and producer TANNERGAARD and she has continued to write and record her own music.
Born in Sweden, at 19 she moved to London to pursue a career in music. She graduated from the music university BIMM London with a degree in creative musicianship/vocals. Since then the world-savvy Swede pack has backpacked across the United States. The trip solidified her love of country music. Last year she released the escape fantasy “A Little Bit Longer.”
“Weekend Girls” is the brand new single from STINA, released worldwide to all major streaming services on June 9, 2022. The song is a wistful and heartbreaking assessment of a romance in the rearview. The song rides on a rolling mid-tempo, country-tinged and 80’s inspired pop groove. The star of the show however is that voice. STINA sings with such a cool confidence, it is an effortless and soulful sound. Her voice finds its footing in country, however the singer colors her sound with shades of r&b and a bit of Lorde-style pop/soul.
