Max Ayeza is an emerging singer/songwriter who recently launched a brand new phase of her music career. For a number of years the musician from Manila performed as a member of the popular Filipino band, Childstar. The group disbanded a few years ago. Max eventually married former bandmate Aaron and started a life.
Earlier this year the duo decided to give the music business another go, this time working completely independent of any outside influences. For the first time, Max Ayeza had full creative control of her sound. Working with husband, producer and co-writer Aaron behind the board, the thirty-six year-old singer made her professional solo recording debut earlier this month with the anthemic pop single, “Song for a Child.”
“Get Over” is the brand new single from Max Ayeza, released worldwide to all major streaming services on June 17, 2022. Minor-key piano arpeggios introduce the track. Soon deep synths and strings lend a cinematic, 80s-inspired feel to the emotional pop ballad. A slow boom-clap beats at the heart of the track as Max steps to the mic with a soulful and wistful look at the end of a toxic relationship.
