El Busto is an emerging independent hip-hop artist making his professional solo recording debut in 2022. The up and coming rapper comes to the music scene after first conquering a more conventional career. The Nashville, Tennessee native was raised by a single mother and ultimately encouraged by his family to attend college. He did so and earned a degree in computer programming.
Soon after graduation he had a job in corporate America. After the loss of both his grandparents and his brother he needed an outlet for his grief. Music seemed the natural choice. He began cutting records with his brother Luke, and El Busto was born.
“U.D.T.C” (uno, dos, tres, cuatro) is the debut single from El Busto, released worldwide to all major streaming services on June 10, 2022. The track is a slow and low trap club banger. Deep sawtooth analog synth funk bass tones hold down the floor as ambient synths and percussive arpeggios paint the edges of the mix. El Busto steps to the mic with a half-Spanish/half-English old-school shoutout calling all the party people to the dance floor.
