The song’s title and samples are a reference to the classic 1996 crime thriller Set it Off, starring Queen Latifa as badass bank robber Cleo. Ambient synths and minor-key piano arpeggios set an ominous mood as the rapper tells his tragic tale with impressive technique and a theatrical, lyrical flow.
