Tiger-Pig is the professional name of electronic music producer Andrew Bowker. He’s making his professional solo recording debut in 2022 with a series of electro house bangers. The London-based electro and blog house producer is inspired by the French electro scene from the early 2000s. Among his primary influences are artists like Daft Punk, Justice and Sebastian.
When the war in Ukraine began, like people around the world he wanted to help. The DJ signed up to take in a refugee. Unfortunately no one was available for him to help. Government red tape made it nearly impossible for the refugees to get visas. Out of frustration he did what he does best, he made some music.
“Freedom Square” is the new single from Tiger-pig, released worldwide to all major streaming services on April 13, 2022. A driving four on the floor beat drives the tune forward as a narrator proudly declares the determination of the Ukrainian people. Psychedelic synths create a trippy scene as a funky electronic bass functions as the primary melodic element.
