We first heard from Shradan in May of last year upon the release of his single “See In Color.” That track introduced The Static Dive readers to a talented emerging DJ and producer making some big waves in the EDM world. Originally from Mumbai, India, the aspiring artist now calls Los Angeles, California home.
Recently he competed in a remix competition on the LabelRadar.com website. Multi-platinum Australian artist Vassy offered producers an opportunity to showcase their talents by remixing her single “Don’t Wanna Be Right.” She teamed up with US producer and Pitbull pal Vinny Vibe on the original 2021 global hit. Vassy personally chose Shradan’s mix as a runner-up in this hotly contested competition.
For his take on the hit, the LA DJ transports the R&B-fueled pop/disco jam into a hypnotic Future Rave banger. Electronic arpeggios swirl through the mix lending a Trance feel to the track. Meanwhile Vassy delivers her soulful dancefloor devotion. It’s a great mix that really takes the song into some trippy uncharted territory.
