Jamming With The Devil is an alternative rock band with a guitar-driven post-hardcore sound. The group made their professional recording debut in 2016 with a self-titled two song EP. That record introduced a hard-hitting band delivering heavy metal power and infectious pop hooks.
The Jamming With The Devil roster has been a moving target since the band’s inception. Originally a four piece, the cast of characters in support of frontman and guitarist Tomas Ferenc has changed completely in that time. The group has now settled on a stable trio lineup featuring Tomas Ferenc (vocals, screams, guitar), Martin Mikolaj (drums) and Anton Kuric (bass).
“Summer” is the current single and video from Jamming With The Devil’s EP Broken. An upbeat pop/punk jam, the song is a celebration of everyone’s favorite season. The band delivers a Blink 182-style rocker as Tomas sings an international escape fantasy. The band peppers the high-octane energy with a couple of mellow vocal/acoustic interludes and a rocking guitar solo in the bridge.

8 Questions with Tomas Ferenc
Where are you from?
We are from Slovakia.
How long have you been making music?
Our band has been working since 2016, but making music way longer than that. We have been in bands before and this one is the longest one yet. So we put so much more effort in Jamming with the devil than in any other band we have been in.
Who are the musicians involved in your project?
Now we play as a trio Tomas Ferenc – vocals, screams, guitar, Martin Mikolaj – drums, Anton Kuric – Bass
Who are your biggest musical influences?
Of course it all started with Blink 182, Sum 41 and Simple Plan. Now the music is more complex and a lot of styles are combined. We love A day to Remember, Four Year Strong, Chunk ! No Captain Chunk and a lot more. I just love bands so I’m discovering new ones very often.
What is your greatest non-musical influence?
Just want to spread the message, I am influenced by life and experiences. I do put a lot of myself into the lyrics. I am very emotional so I try to put that into the music.
What inspired you to create this project?
Well I was in a few bands before and love to make music so everytime band crashed I built a new one. So I just move on and start over. This looks like it will last longer.
What are your plans for the future (musically)?
Well we want to spread the word about the “Summer” our new music video and already have some new songs we are working on for months now. Will record some new stuff this year and hopefully next year play some more shows, because we are only working on songs and not play live so much lately.
Is there anything else you would like to say?
We want to say thank you to everybody that is reading this article and listened to our music. It is a humbling process and takes years to get everything right and with every release we learn something new. So thank you.
