G The Producer’s Existential Emo Trap ‘Alive’

g the producer

G The producer is an emerging independent hip-hop producer and artist from the small upstate New York city of Auburn. Although he has been making music under various monikers over the past 15 years, G (aka Geezus Peace) made his professional solo recording debut in 2018 with the single “One Life.” That track and the string of singles and EPs that followed introduced a talented beatmaker and rapper with a versatile and eclectic sound.

Since that debut, G The Producer has connected with hip-hop fans around the world on tracks like 2021’s single “Live it Up” and 2019’s Moonlit EP. The multi-talented musician raps, sings, plays guitar and makes all his own beats. His sound is a unique mix of indie rock, pop, hip-hop and emo trap.

I just wanted to make music that was relatable to the average person in the everyday struggle.

The track opens on a deep 808 bass and a melodic acoustic guitar sample rides a slow and low trap groove.
