Marvin Romero is an emerging independent rapper, songwriter and producer who made his debut in 2020 with the EP “Rome Quest Unmastered.” That record introduced a talented and eclectic artist with an Alternative hip-hop vibe and a taste for laid-back lo-fi beats. A native of Northwest Indiana, the lifelong musician spent years refining his sound before going public.
Since that debut Romero has released a steady stream of material, including two EPs and a handful of singles. Working solo and with collaborators like Jugo BOIS and Fl@shl!ght he has connected with fans around the world on tracks 2020’s “3AM.” Earlier this month the prolific producer dropped his first new music of 2022.

Ambient synths and psychedelic effects open the song before the track drops on a chilled lo-fi r&b vibe. Deep piano chords meet a classic analog synth bass for a mellow funk groove. The singer steps to the mic with an easy laid-back rap. The track is a smooth and sexy slow jam for the digital dating age.
