Ernest Aines is an indie-folk singer/songwriter who made his professional solo recording debut in 2019 with the EP “Already Found.” That record introduced a skillful storyteller and guitarist with a soulful and organic Americana sound.
In recent years Ernest Aines has toured the world with an acoustic guitar on his back. The Melbourne, Australia native has traveled to all points of the globe; from Japan to the US, Germany to Brazil. In 2021, Ernest was selected by Sounds Australia as one of only 12 Australian artists for the Global Music Match program, which connects artists worldwide in collaborations.
Over two years in the making, Ernest Aines is now readying the release of his debut full-length album “Spiral Bound.” Fans got their first peek at the record last year with the single “So Far.” The forthcoming album’s second single is finally here, after traveling a long road from its lockdown demo origins.
“Yellowstone ” is the brand new single from Ernest Aines, released worldwide via all major streaming services on July 13, 2021. The singer’s signature finger-picked guitar directs an organic ensemble of wood and strings. The heavy thump of a floor-tom beats at the heart of the track as a banjo and slide guitar paint the edges of the mix. Meanwhile Ernest delivers a soulful ode to the land of the geysers, inspired by a David Attenborough-directed documentary.
