Bayberry Drive is the professional name of the songwriting and production duo of Justin Villamonte and Keanu Salvador. Originally from Chicago, the two began writing songs together when they were still in high school. They started their career with a string of songs released to their Soundcloud page.Their music has done well on the platform. So earlier this year they stepped onto the big streaming stages of Spotify, iTunes et al with the single “Lovesick.”
Since their 2017 debut, Bayberry Drive has released over three dozen singles. Their melancholy lo-fi singer/songwriter indie-pop vibe has connected with thousands of fans around the globe. On their latest track, they take a very personal look at depression as seen through the eyes of someone suffering its torment.
“Gone” is the brand new single from Bayberry Drive, released worldwide to all major streaming services on June 24, 2022. A wistful and somber soliloquy, the song finds Keanu alone with his acoustic guitar. HE delivers a soulful and heartbreaking account of a slide into depression. He addresses his family, lovers and friends as assesses his unfortunate mental state.
