Marius Costea is an international independent singer, songwriter and guitarist whose musical journey has taken him around the world and through the decades of rock, pop, blues and country music. Growing up in Romania, Marius had little money and limited access to the outside world. The music of the western world became the young artist’s pathway to a whole new life.
As Marius Costea’s record collection grew, so did his musical vocabulary. He honed his guitar chops on classic rock, metal and blues before eventually landing on country music as his medium of choice. After fronting bands in Romania for a few years, Marius moved to Brussels, Belgium, engrained himself in the local music scene and formed his current band Belgo Cowboys.
“Fire” is the brand new single and video from Marius Costea, released worldwide via all major streaming services on July 27, 2022.The track is the latest in a series of a dozen singles the musician has dropped since 2020. It is a fun, genre-bending summer jam. An early rock/funk vibe soon introduces elements of country, pop and EDM. A mix of organic and electronic instruments lay down an upbeat groove as Marius sings an ode to the object of his desire.
