Josh Field is a singer, songwriter and honky tonk road warrior who has spent the better part of the last decade on tour with his band Brother Nothing. He formed the group after cutting his teeth with a number of different acts around his hometown’s legendary music scene. Since then the group has carved their own unique niche in the Americana music scene with a blues-fueled country-soul vibe.
In recent years Josh has shared the stage with high-profile acts like Blackberry Smoke, Charlie Robison and Billy Joe Shaver. When not touring, the singer can often be found in the studio. In 2015 Josh Field and Brother Nothing released their debut album “All in My Mind.” The solo EP “Satisfied” followed and in 2017 he released the full-length “Reasons for Change.”
Recently, the singer gave fans their first peak at his forthcoming album “As The Wind Blows” with a two track teaser titled “Hope Fiend” released to Soundcloud. The set opens with the introspective love song “The Last Time.” Josh trades bars with a bluesy lead guitar as a Nashville ensemble lays down a traditional country shuffle. The soulful gospel-tinged ballad “Shine On” follows with an uplifting message of hope.
