Almost Gone are a high-octane party rock band from Richmond, Virginia. The quartet first joined forces in 2019, primarily playing cover songs at bars in their hometown. Then COVID happened and the gigs dried up. Rather than hang it up, the band used the downtime to hone their chops. They also got down to the business of writing and recording their own original music.
Known in Richmond for their energetic stage performances and work-hard /party-hard image, Almost Gone is now expanding their reach. They made their professional recording debut in 2021 with the song “Sanity.” Since then they have released a total of eight singles. With a 90’s alternative rock edge and a slew of early-2000 pop/punk hooks, the band has connected with thousands of fans around the world with tracks like “Better Off” and “Rut.”
“Three Oh Six” is the brand new single and video from Almost Gone, released worldwide via all major streaming services on July 22, 2022. The opening frame of the song’s video is a program note that explains the title and sets the scene. Soon a classic power-pop guitar riff breaks the silence. With an airtight rhythm section and a wall of Marshall stacks, the band kicks into an upbeat power-chord fueled ode to hard partying and bad decisions.
