Miss is an up and coming independent alternative band from Kings Mountain, North Carolina who recently dropped their debut album. The group consists of trio long time friends who share a deep commitment and passion for their music. Working together and with other artists in their local scene, the trio of Achary, Spiritofaustin and DLE create a smart and eclectic sound.
In August of 2021 the band dropped their debut album Well, There Went That! The seven-song set introduced a wildly creative and experimental crew. Although the band finds its foundation in indie rock, from that launch point they expand the parameters of their sound far beyond recognizable borders. The vibe that brings to mind other unclassifiable experimental artists like Beck or The Flaming Lips.
“GWEN” is the current single from Miss, available worldwide via all major streaming services. A lo-fi indie-pop guitar beats at the heart of the track, metering out a mellow groove. Melancholy synths and strings fade in and out of the mix as the singer steps to the mic with a soulful, r&b-tinged and slightly psychedelic indie rock torch song.
