Aidar Omar is an emerging singer/songwriter with a classic sound and unique flare for songwriting. Born in Almaty, Kazakhstan, the singer was first turned onto the music of the Western world when his mother came home with a copy of “When I Fall in Love” by the late great Nat King Cole. He was immediately hooked.
Eventually, Aidar Omar found his way to the United States. He received an Aerospace Engineering degree from Illinois Tech, Chicago and later moved to Silicon Valley, California for work. There he took voice lessons with Maestro Dietrich Erbelding. He now writes songs and performs live with original and “Jazz standards” repertoire.
Since making his recording debut in 2020, the prolific artist has released ten singles and three full length albums. “Tesla My Love” is his latest single, released worldwide via all major streaming services on July 20, 2022. On the track the singer pairs a beautiful Latin folk ballad with a loving ode to his favorite car maker. It is an unconventional subject to be sure. However, the track is beautifully produced and performed. Aidar delivers an expertly executed and jazz/pop performance as he sings the virtues of Elon’s vision.
