Agon Drops New Single ‘Fake People’

We first heard from Agon last month when he shared his new single “Lifetime.” That track introduced readers of The Static Dive to a talented up-and-coming independent hip-hop artist from Slovakia. He is creating engaging new rap music with a positive message and a taste for classic hip-hop grooves and trap beats.

Agon has amassed an impressive catalog since dropping his first single “Combat” in 2021. The prolific producer has released over two dozen singles in that time. He has found an international audience of hip-hop fans who want a break from the violence, materialism and misogyny of most modern rap.

“Fake People” is a new single from Agon, released worldwide via all major streaming services on May 27, 2022. As the track opens, a subterranean sawtooth bass rumbles the floor as psychedelic synths spin on the periphery. Soon the beat drops on a slow and low trap groove. The rapper steps to the mic and like a hip-hop Holden Caufield he calls out all the phonies around him. He delivers the tale in his signature hard style as he offers advice on identifying and avoiding fake people.
