Sabina SouLab is an emerging independent singer, songwriter and producer. Originally from Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, the singer grew up with her musical family in San Diego, California. A ten year veteran of the international music scene, performing simply as ‘Sabina’ she has released two albums and a string of singles.
In 2022 Sabina SouLab is debuting a new artist name and a brand new record. Her sound is a smooth blend of r&b soul, jazz vibes and a bit of Hip-hop attitude. The accomplished and award-winning vocalist recently appeared on Estrella TV’s hugely popular international Spanish-language talent show, Tengo Talento Mucho Talento. After her appearance the singer introduced her new artist name with the release of the single “Sabor a mí.”
21:21 is the brand new EP from Sabina SouLab, released worldwide via all major streaming services on July 7, 2022. The four-song record is a soulful, jazz-infused set of chilled downtempo jazz-infused grooves from a deeply talented artist. She is joined by a band of virtuosic musicians laying down cool Latin r&b moods.
From the smooth electric piano vibes of “Ya Fue” to the smooth slow jam groove of the closer “Un Sorbo,” the versatile singer delivers sultry serenades, smoky soul and even a little rap. The band is excellent throughout. They lay down a chill summertime funk on “Magia de Verano” and a nice modern r&b groove on “Listen Boo.” It’s a great record from world-class artist.
