Prasan CQR is the professional name of singer, songwriter, rapper and producer Prasan Silwal. The 21 year-old creator made his professional solo recording debut in 2021 with the single “TMI.” That song introduced a multi-talented artist with a sound inspired by the international pop stars the young artist listened to growing up in Nepal.
Pursuing his musical dreams, Prasan CQR recently relocated from his third world home country to the major metropolitan hub of Sydney, Australia. Since his debut the singer has produced six singles. His latest is also his first English-language release. The track features Prasan’s 13 year-old sister, Simran Silwal.
“DBY 24/7 – Dreaming Bout You” is the brand new single from Prasan CQR, released worldwide via all major streaming services on July 22, 2022. A lonely solo piano opens the track as Simran steps to the mic to introduce a melancholy downtempo lo-fi hip-hop torch song. Parsan takes the verse, rapping and singing a soulful and heartfelt tale of longing and loneliness over a sparse arrangement of drums and keys.
