Kristián J is an emerging independent singer/songwriter who launched his music career after bravely saying goodbye to a more conventional career path. He made his professional solo recording debut in 2021 with the single “Restart.” That track introduced a talented artist with a soulful r&b vibe and keen pop sensibilities. Since then the prolific producer has released eight singles and the six song EP Yang-A-Chi.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the young artist eventually found his way to New York City where he attended and graduated from the prestigious Columbia University with a major in anthropology and a minor in linguistics. After graduating from college, Kristián J took the road less traveled. Rather than step on the conveyor belt of corporate America, he hopped on a plane and moved to South Korea. There he reconnected with his roots and committed to a musical life.
“FCKWITHME” is the brand new single and video from Kristián J, released worldwide via all major streaming services on July 29, 2022. The track rolls on an infectious mix of power pop hooks and electro-pop beats. Synth arpeggios swirl on the periphery as a deep EDM bass and electric guitar power chords ride a pop/rock groove. Kristián gives an excellent radio-ready performance. On the track he laments the affections of all the girls in the club while he’s just trying to find Mr. Right.
