SlimeyDarro is an emerging independent hip-hop artist and entrepreneur who made his professional solo recording debut in 2021 with the single and video, “Ice Mode.” That track introduced a skilled emcee from Atlanta with a verbose flow and a unique lyrical style. When not in the studio SlimeyDarro is running things at Henchmen4L, the baseball cap company he launched last year.
In addition to his solo work the rapper is also affiliated with popular ATL crew Sahbabii and the Squids. Since his debut, the rapper has released six singles. With a sound built on deep emo trap grooves, psychedelic moods and a touch of r&b he creates trippy melodic rap.
“Misunderstood” is the brand new single from SlimeyDarro, released worldwide via all major streaming services on July 16, 2022. Ambient synths open the track with an ethereal vibe. Soon a minimal downtempo trap beat drops on a deep synth bass. SlimeyDarro steps to the mic for an esoteric freestyle, dropping abstract rhymes and pop culture references to everything from Tropic Thunder to Kim Possible.
