We first heard from Chitothe1 in July of this year upon the release of his debut full length album Unrendered. That record introduced readers of The Static Dive to talented rapper and producer from Portland, Oregon. His sound is mix of old-school flavor and new-school beats.
The rapper dropped his first single “Light Show” in 2021. Since then he has produced an impressive volume of work. In addition to his album, Chitothe1 has released nine standalone singles since his debut.
“No Script” is the brand new single from Chitothe1, released worldwide via all major streaming services on August 22, 2022. A classic pop flute loop introduces the tune. Soon the beat drops on a lard lo-fi trap groove. An acoustic guitar rides a deep 808 bass as the flute paints the periphery and the rapper steps to the mic with clever, laid-back freestyle.
