Tashkii is an emerging independent singer, songwriter, pianist and producer who made her professional solo recording debut in 2021 with the single “Sunset to Sunrise”. That track introduced a multi-talented pop artist with a soulful r&b vibe and a taste for cool funk grooves. Subsequent releases revealed a nuanced genre-fluid creator.
Since her debut, Tashkii has released a total of six singles. They range in style from cinematic dark pop ballads to upbeat dance bops. Now living in Vancouver, Canada, the singer was born and raised in Volgograd, Russia where she received classical musical training from childhood. As an adult she studied music production and graduated from Nimbus School of Recording. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a black belt in Taekwondo.
“Need Your Love” is the brand new single from Tashkii, released worldwide via all major streaming services on August 26, 2022. The song opens on an ethereal guitar/piano/vocal intro.
