Corey Hall’s New Bluesy Delta Vibe

  • by
corey hall

Corey Hall is an emerging independent folk singer/songwriter making his professional solo recording debut in 2022. A resident of Florida’s Emerald Coast, his music harkens back to that of a century ago when blues men haunted the Mississippi Delta. In addition to his solo work Corey is a member of the psychedelic rock band Elder Flovvers.

Currently touring the Gulf Coast region, Hall has performed at the Americanarama Music Festival in Port St. Joe, Florida and he’s been picking up spins on podcasts and radio stations like WKGC 90.7 The Mix in Panama City. The guitarist gives back to his local scene by hosting Psych Night, a monthly showcase featuring touring psychedelic rock bands.

“Orange Peel Hop” is the brand new single from Corey Hall, released May 27, 2022 via all major streaming services. Summoning the ghost of Robert Johnson, Corey thumbs the bass and plucks the melody on a classic delta blues riff. Accompanied only by his guitar and occasional, minimalist drums, the singer laments a good love gone bad.
