Majestic Madness is the professional name of independent hip-hop artist, Marquise Bryant. For more than a decade the Orlando, Florida tapper, singer, songwriter and producer has been crafting a unique genre-fluid vibe. His sound is a chilled mix of trap, hip-hop, pop and r&b elements.
With hundreds of tracks on Soundcloud, Majestic Madness recently began releasing music to a wider audience via major streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music. The prolific producer has dropped four new singles since the first of the year. A shout out to his hometown started it off.
“O-Town” is the current single from Majestic Madness, available worldwide via all major streaming services. Ominous minor-key synths introduce the track as Majestic Madness steps to the mic. His intentionally robotic vocal and the song’s low melodic bass line brings to mind the psychedelic funk of 70’s and 80’s artists like P-Funk and Cameo. Soon the beat drops on a downtempo trap groove and MM delivers an ode to Orlando as he slides between a rhythmic monotone and a melodic r&b-infused rap.
