Acid.Prof is an emerging independent band with a flower power vibe and an eclectic rock & roll sound. Led by singer, songwriter and guitarist Bobby Wallisch Jr, they made their professional recording debut in 2022 with the acid rock stylings of “Vampyre.” That track introduced a talented quartet from Austria who finds inspiration from across the decades of modern music.
Since their debut the band has released four studio singles as well as the six song EP Live at the Aera, recorded earlier this year in their hometown of Vienna. Their music pairs the style and philosophy of classic rock with modern production and songwriting techniques. Their songs tell of mystical tales and sci-fi mysteries.
“Paula” is the latest single and video from Acid.Prof, released worldwide via all major streaming services on June 17, 2022. An upbeat indie bop, the tune rides on an acoustic and electric guitar driven 90’s alt-pop groove. With an ensemble of guitars, bass, drums and organ, the band pairs that radio-ready rhythm with a fabulously trippy tale of two “mushroom headed lovers’ ‘ who live happily ever after, dreaming by a purple sea.
