PsychCloned’s New Little Treasures

Gabriel Pureco is back with another genre-defying instrumental adventure. Regular readers of The Static Dive know the North Carolina composer/producer as PsychCloned. Over the last two years he has produced a voluminous catalog of musically sophisticated and experimental work.

PsychCloned’s early work was mostly electronic music written for video games. Over the last year he has expanded his repertoire and  his ensemble. An international group of trusted collaborators have joined Gabriel as he has ventured into jazz, classical and prog rock.

“Little Treasures” is the brand new single from PsychCloned, released worldwide via all major streaming services on September 16, 2022. Once again, Pureco takes us in a new musical direction with an acoustic Celtic fantasy. Through the first half of the six minute piece, featured guitarist Camilo D.G. performs a musically intricate and melodically beautiful acoustic guitar duet. Midway through the song an organic but industrial percussive beat drops and the song transforms into flute-led cinematic theme.

This song attempts to remain free of restraint as the musical world is my playground and what came of it is what I like to call "My name is Jonas" meets "the Medieval playground".
