TinoK and Sprock are S&W are a duo of veteran DJs, composers and producers who first made a name for themselves in the wild electronic dance music scene of the 1990’s. In that time the Canadian musicians released two albums and toured extensively. Pioneers of underground dance music, they took their innovative sound and style around the world.
The group took their final Canadian club tour in 1998. Then TinoK and Sprock went silent for nearly a quarter century. Now at long last, they are back with their first new material in decades. The team is reintroducing their sound with three very different versions of one brand new song.
“Liquid Fire” is the latest single from TinoK and Sprock are S&W, released worldwide via all major streaming services on August 10, 2022. The song arrives with three mixes. Each version of the tune takes into completely different musical realms.
The ‘Radio Edit’ is a minimalist alt-rocker. A raw electric guitar plays a simple two-chord progression over an intentionally distorted lo-fi glitch beat as the singer delivers his soulful and esoteric testimony. The single release also features the ‘Pagoda Remix’ a wild mix of house and dubstep styles. The ‘Deep Plunge Remix’ then takes the track on a smooth tropical/deep house ride.
