T.K.O is the professional name of emerging independent artist Orlando Ayala. The Boston, Massachusetts native firsted started making music over a decade ago. However, it is only in the past year that he has shared his work with the public. The rapper made his professional recording debut in January of this year with the Chardo collab “Oh Na Na”. That track introduced a talented singer and rapper with an eclectic style.
Citing the inspiration of similarly versatile artists like Kanye West, Chris Rock and Maxwell, T.K.O mixes elements of hip-hop, r&b and pop into a uniquely soulful sound. “How i did you” is the brand new single from T.K.O, released worldwide via all major streaming services on September 19, 2022. Ambient synths and a hypnotic vocal sample open the track and create a dreamy ethereal mood. The beat drops on a downtempo slow jam groove as T.K.O steps to the mic with a heartbreaker of a torch song. He delivers an open letter to his ex, apologizing for all of his past wrongs.
