PANDTN (progress and transformation) is the professional name of independent singer, songwriter and producer Vladimir Levintovich. For 25 years he dreamed of becoming a singer in a rock and roll band. In 2022 the Tel Aviv musician made it happen by taking advantage of recent advances in home recording and launching a brand new solo project.
He made his professional solo recording debut in April with the single “Open the Window”. That track introduced a talented songwriter with a retro vibe. Inspired by the sounds of 80’s alternative rock and new wave legends, he creates emotionally and musically complex music with a classic post-punk sound.
“The Gap Between” is the latest single from PANDTN, released worldwide via all major streaming services on July 17, 2022. Rolling on a driving up-tempo alternative rock groove, staccato guitars and analog synths create a dark minor-key mood. Levintovich steps to the mic with a deep existential meditation delivered in dramatic baritone for a dark wave mood reminiscent of Bauhaus’ Peter Murphy.
