Cardea & Jadakiss’ Hot New Collab ‘Flight’

Cardea is a veteran independent hip-hop artist and actor who made his professional solo recording debut in 2018 with the single “Zone”. Before that the South Central Los Angeles native had made a name for himself as a talented battle-rap emcee in LA’s underground hip-hop scene.

However, the lure of the street came calling and Cardea was shot at the age of 19 after getting involved in the drug trade. After losing his father he realized that he wanted more out of life and retooled his focus on music and acting. As an actor, he’s appeared on a number of television shows, including the sitcom “In the Cut”. produced and directed by Bentley Evans.

Since his return to the mic, the prolific rapper has dropped nine singles and collabs. He has connected with hundreds of thousands of hip-hop fans around the world on tracks like “Thrilla” and “Add it Up”. On his latest single, the West Coast rapper recruited the talents of an East Coast legend.

“Flight (feat Jadakiss)” is the brand new single from Cardea, released worldwide on October 6, 2022 via all major streaming services. As the track opens the beat drops on the deep 808 bass hits of a slow and low trap groove. Ambient minor-key synths set an ominous tone as hip-hop legend Jadakiss steps to the mic. He and Cardea trade verses, each freestyling on the theme of the song’s title. Cardea sums  it up in the chorus as he sings the mantra, “Flying over these haters. flying straight to that paper.”
