Diior2x is an emerging independent multi-genre artist who made his professional solo recording debut in 2022 with the single “C’MERE”. That track introduced a talented singer, songwriter, producer and rapper from Saskatchewan, Canada. Although it was his first official release, the track was preceded by years of songwriting on social media.
Inspired by his brother, Diior2x first started writing songs for fun in 2017 and posting them on his Snapchat story. Last year he bought his first professional microphone and began recording. Since his debut, the prolific creator has released four singles and has connected with fans around the world.
“Bad (do it again)” is the latest single from Diior2x, released worldwide via all major streaming services on September 16, 2022. True to his social media origins, the singer was inspired to write the song by the TikTok ‘Hip dance’ trend. Ambient synths and vocal effects float on the horizon as a Latin-infused syncopated kick drum beats out a reggaeton-inspired groove.
Diior2x steps to the mic and delivers his torch song. A multifaceted vocalist, he seamlessly slides between a soulful r&b verse and a rapid-fire chopping rap. Lyrically the track takes a step into deeper waters for the artist, and that is by design.
