Elia Press is an emerging independent singer/songwriter making his professional solo recording debut in 2022. However, the 22 year-old began his musical journey years ago. As early as the age of three, Elia (pronounced ill-ee-a) was writing songs. He found inspiration in the work of pop and rock legends like The Beatles, Elvis and Little Richard.
In recent years, the music of Bruno Mars has rekindled Elia Press’ love for songwriting. The Toronto musician travels at all times with a recording studio in his backpack. The prolific producer has plans for new releases throughout the rest of 2022 and beyond. On September 29th he dropped his debut single.
“Sunshine at the Beach” is the brand new single from Elia Press, available worldwide via all major streaming services. As the track opens, an indie-pop guitar plays a mellow funk. Soon the beat drops on a lo-fi hip-hop beat. Syncopated percussion and ambient synths paint the edges of the mix as Elia and guest vocalist Arrinel Jackson trade verses, singing and rapping a breezy summer love song.
